Google Read and Write for Android and Built-In Android Features Overview

Google Read and Write for Android is an alternative keyboard that serves as a digital reading and writing tool kit for our students. It includes 

• Speech with dual color highlighting

• Speak as you type

• Word Prediction as you type

• Spell Checker

• Dictionary with integrated Picture Dictionary

These tools are designed to tailor the writing process to provide the student with the right amount of support to make writing manageable but also keep the learning going.  We will talk more about how to apply these tools to learning elsewhere.
